FlashDevelop – Basic Setup

to install and work with flash develop, we require three component(s) :-

1)  FlashDevelop (.exe)

2)  Flash ActiveX Debug Player For IE. (.exe)

3)  Free Flex SDK. (.zip)

You can download all these files from internet at no cost.

After downloading all the files, first of all , install FlashDevelop.

Than if you already have flash player, unistall that from control panel and install flash player activex for IE.

Also extract the content of free flex sdk to somewhere in hard disc preferably C:\flex_sdk (not necessary although).

Now open flash develop, click on Tools->Program Settings. Program setting window will appear. From program setting window, select AS3Contex from right tab as below-
